Hey, I'm Carter.

 

I'm a finance-focused startup veteran with over 15 years of operating experience. My love of travel led me to Tripping, where I met Jen and Jeff and served as Finance Director from the early days through to the company's exit.

 

In addition to advising founders and investing, I'm currently acting as a fractional finance lead to multiple small businesses from a top crypto newsletter to a private charter aviation company. I also invest out of my permanent equity fund, Valpo Holdings. My goal is to help founders become financially savvy as they scale their companies.

PERSONAL LIFE:

I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics and played NCAA water polo. I'm based in San Diego, support non-profits related to ALS research, and enjoy any and all water activities with my wife and daughter.
